Amazfit Pop 2 Review

The Amazfit Pop 2 is a Bluetooth-enabled fitness tracker that boasts a 1.78-inch AMOLED display and a built-in blood oxygen meter. Other features include a step count, calorie counter and sleep monitoring.

Bluetooth 5.2

The Amazfit Pop 2 is a smartwatch from the Chinese brand. The new smartwatch comes with a larger screen and will be available in India from November 22.

The Amazfit Pop 2 is packed with fitness features. It has over 100 sports modes, heart rate monitor, blood oxygen monitoring, and remote music playback control. You can also receive notifications from your phone via Bluetooth.

The Amazfit Pop 2 comes with a stainless steel button and an AMOLED display. There is also an inbuilt speaker and microphone. This smartwatch is water-resistant up to 5 meters.

The battery of the Amazfit Pop 2 lasts for up to 10 days with normal usage. That’s good for a budget smartwatch.

1.78-inch AMOLED display

The Amazfit Pop 2 is an entry-level smartwatch that comes with many features and health monitoring options. It is equipped with a 1.78-inch HD AMOLED display, Bluetooth v5.2 support, and an IP68 water-resistant rating. Besides the standard features, the Pop 2 has a built-in microphone for making and receiving calls, as well as a sedentary reminder and a sleep tracker.

Amazfit Pop 2’s AMOLED display is sharp and has 326 ppi density, which is comparable to the quality found on smartphones. This allows for a smooth, immersive user experience. Also, the watch is waterproof up to five meters.

In addition, the Amazfit Pop 2 is compatible with Bluetooth v5, so it can receive and make calls, and it also includes a voice assistant. You can use it to schedule reminders, check your email, or even turn your phone on and off.

Built-in blood oxygen meter

The Amazfit Pop 2 has a built-in blood oxygen meter. This is important for health monitoring. It monitors the saturation of your blood oxygen level and displays it on its 1.78-inch AMOLED display.

Another important feature of the Amazfit Pop 2 is Bluetooth calling. It supports calls using Bluetooth, as well as iOS and Android mobiles. You can use voice commands to initiate and end calls.

Another function of the Amazfit Pop 2 is its ability to track deep sleep. The smartwatch can also record light sleep. Other functions include weather, exercise and sports mode, and menstrual cycle tracking.

However, the Amazfit Pop 2 does not have a built-in GPS sensor. So, it may not be the best choice for fitness and health tracking.

Step count

The step count in Amazfit Pop 2 is a nice feature. There are many fitness bands out there that over count steps, so it is always good to know how many steps you are actually taking.

In fact, the Amazfit Pop 2 has a slew of other useful features. It has a heart rate monitor and a blood oxygen sensor. Moreover, it has a pedometer, voice assistant, and remote music playback control. Plus, it has Bluetooth calling capabilities.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t have some basic features like a calculator. And, it does not sync with Google Fit. But if you’re looking for a reasonably priced smartwatch with Bluetooth calling and a handful of other features, the Pop 2 is worth checking out.

Sleep monitoring

Amazfit Pop 2 is a fitness tracker and smartwatch with a lot of health-related features. It includes a heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, and sedentary reminder. This watch is water resistant and has an always-on display. In addition, it has Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC support. The built-in microphone also works for phone calls.

Amazfit Pop 2 comes in two colours: black and white. It uses a Polycarbonate body, which is water resistant up to 50 meters. You can change the straps to suit your style. Also, the smartwatch offers a variety of watch faces. Some of the watch faces have a high-resolution display.

Amazfit Pop 2 provides continuous heart rate monitoring. However, it does not record REM and SpO2. Despite the lack of clinically-accurate results, the smartwatch offers a good range of health-related features.
